NYEyes Traffic - New York Traffic Video Image

New York traffic video images in your iPhone!.

This iPhone 3G app streams traffic webcam video images directly from the New York City Department of Transportation.  

Thanks to the Department of Transportation for sharing the road traffic content online.  

More than of 120 CCTV camera locations are provided in the app. 
Most of the video images are played back on your iPhone screen at the rate of 1 frame per every 3-8 seconds. 

It also provide a link to visit Department of Transportation's e website to view the traffic speed conditions.  

Requirements: 
• iPhone and iPodTouch with OS3.0 and above. 
• Internet access via WiFi, 3G, EDGE or GPRS.  

User Guides: 
• Launch the app and select the list of camera available for viewing of the traffic video images. 
• When viewing traffic images, always take note of the motion of the images. Images may ceased to work, unavailable due to maintenance or may be outdated. 
• User may occasionally received data lost or camera unavailable messages. In this case, this may be due to the outage of the CCTV image. Press refresh button or check the status later.

• The traffic images and web contents are managed by the third party owners and the author do not have any control over the quality, accuracy, timeliness and availability of the data.
